This is quite a tasty appitizer. For an added taste, add some toasted sesame seeds while baking.
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1 T. sugar
- 1/2 t. salt
- 2 T. finely chopped garlic
- 1 T. vegetable oil
- 1 T. Hoisin sauce
- 2 t. soy sauce
- 1 t. finely chopped gingerroot
Directions
Cut each chicken wing at joints to make 3 pieces; discard tip.  Mix remaining ingredients in med. bowl; stir in chicken pieces untill well coated.  Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
 
 Heat oven to 450 degrees. Place chicken with marinade in and ungreased rectangular pan, 13/9".  Bake uncovered 30 mins.  Reduce oven temp. to 375.  Turn chicken; bake 20 mins. or till done and sauce is absorbed.
