Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 4 squares of unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 tsps. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. plus 2 tlbs. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • Icing:
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 4 tlbs. evaporated milk
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Melt margarine with chocolate. Add sugar and vanilla. Let cool slightly. Add eggs, lightly beaten. Then add flour. Add chopped nuts. Spread in 13x9x2 baking dish and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

Icing: 1/4 c. margarine heated with evaporated milk. Add powdered sugar, cocoa, and vanilla. Spread on brownies and cut in squares when cold (important).
