Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound lean pork sausage
  • 2-3 Tablespoons flour
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • Cook sausage in a skillet unit done. Remove with a slotted spoon to reserve the drippings. Add flour, one tablespoon at a time until a slight thickening occurs. Stir flour until light to mediuim brown. Add milk, stirring with a whisk to incorporate the flour. Cook over medium heat until thickened. If too thick, add more milk, if too thin, take 1 tablespoon of flour and add 3 tablespoons of milk to make a paste. Add to gravy/ just before serving, add sausage. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
