Ingredients
- 3 c. water
- 1/4 c. tomato juice
- 1 chicken boullion cube
- 1 1/2tsp paprika
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp each: dried basil, parsley, poultry seasoning, thyme, ground ginger, dry mustard, and onion powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 3/4 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 6 drops Tobasco sauce
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions
Pour water and tomato juice into a 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Add all ingredients to Tobasco. Stir or whisk to thoroughly mix. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes, Remove Bay leaf.
Add lemon juice. Mix cornstarch and water, add to pot, stir well, bring to a boil, stir till thickened, whisk in vegetable oil.
Boil 1 -2 minutes
