Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • l cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbls butter or margarine, melted
  • l/4 teasp salt
  • l teasp grated nutmeg
  • l/2 teasp ground cinnamon
  • l/4 teasp ground cloves
  • l teasp vanilla extract
  • l cup chopped pecans
  • l unbaked 9" pastry shell
  • l/2 cup pecan halves
  • whipped cream for serving

Directions

Combine first nine ingredients; beat with an electric mixer until blended. Stir in chopped pecans.
Pour mixture into pastry shell; arrange pecan halves on top.
Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 mins.
Serve with whipped cream.
