Ingredients
- 3 servings
- Chop:
- 4 young onions or prepare 1/4 cup minced onions
- Saute the onions until they are light brown in:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Drain:
- 1 1/2 cups oysters
- Moisten them with:
- 3 tablespoons sherry
- Cook them slowly in the butter until they are plump. Sprinkle them with:
- 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- Combine and boil:
- 3/4 cup Cream Sauce(for vegetables, fish etc.)*
- 1/2 cup chopped Sauteed mushrooms*
- Add the oysters. Place these ingredients in a greased baking dish.
- Spread the top with:
- Bread crumbs
- Dot with:
- Butter
Directions
Bake the dish in a moderate oven 375 degrees F. until it is well heated. Brown the top under a broiler.
