Ingredients

  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup light rum (or bourbon)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups crushed vanilla wafers (about 36)
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • Powdered sugar

Directions

Melt chocolate chips; stir in syrup, rum and sugar. Continue stirring about 2 minutes over low heat. Stir in wafer crumbs and pecans. Cool slightly. Roll into small balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Cover and chill. About 3 dozen balls
