The perfect accompaniment for grilled sea bass or swordfish." 1998 Dr. Basserman-Jordan Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten Pfalz [Germany] Riesling Kabinett Score: 82.0 "Intense, complex and all over the board-a muddled melange of apricot, apple and nuts, sweet, intense but undisiplined on the palate. Served well-chilled, it makes an interesting aperitif. Also goes well with fried rice. " 1998 Schloss Wallhausen Nahe [Germany] Riesling Kabinett Score: 76.0 "Rather thin, light apple, barely off-dry, pleasant though unremarkable." 1998 Graff Mosel-Saar-Ruwer [Germany] Riesling Kabinett Score: 75.0 "Aromatic Granny Smith apples, dry on the palate, simple and pleasant. Pair with chili, hot dogs and bratwurst." 1998 Baron Knyphausen [Germany] Riesling Score: 82.0 "Pleasant quaff with sweet appley fruit and decent balance, though one dimensional. Makes an aperitif that will appeal to just about anyone. " 1998 Dr. Burklin-Wolf Forster Pfalz [Germany] Riesling Kabinett Score: 78.0 "The good points-intense fruit and great lenght. The bad points-High SO2 ruins the nose, and the fruit-acid balance is off. Another disappointment from a usually fine producer." 1998 Dr. Burklin-Wolf Cuvee Christian [Germany] Riesling estate Score: 75.0 "Heavy, off-dry, one-dimensional fruit and rather disjointed. Disappointing from such a great producer. "
