I got the recipe off the TV, and it is delicious indeed!
Ingredients
- 2 catfish fillets
- 1 Tbsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup cornmeal
- l cup flour
- oil for frying
- lemon wedges
- 2 catfish fillets
- 1 Tbsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- oil for frying
- lemon wedges
Directions
Mix together the seasonings, cornmeal and flour.
Heat the oil in a large non-stick skillet. You need enough oil to cover the fillets about 3/4 of the way up, but don't worry, you're going to drain the fish when it's cooked.
Bread the fillets on both sides and cook 4 minutes or so each side until it's a deep golden color. Drain well on paper towels.
