This isn't a warm version, but it always gets raves at parties.
- 1 pkg.(300g) frozen shopped spinach, thawed
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 pouch Knorr vegetable or leek soup mix
- 1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 large round sour dough or pumpernickel loaf
Squeeze moisture from spinach. Mix with next 5 ingredients and set aside.
Hollow out the loaf, leaving 1" of bread around the sides and bottom. Fill with spinach mixture. Chill 2 hrs. Serve with cubes from loaf, crackers and vegetable dippers.
