Classic spinach Dip Recipe

  Canadian Dips

Ingredients:
1 pkg.(300g) frozen shopped spinach, thawed
2 c. sour cream
1 c. mayonnaise
1 pouch Knorr vegetable or leek soup mix
1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3 green onions, chopped
1 large round sour dough or pumpernickel loaf

Directions:
Squeeze moisture from spinach. Mix with next 5 ingredients and set aside.

Hollow out the loaf, leaving 1" of bread around the sides and bottom. Fill with spinach mixture. Chill 2 hrs. Serve with cubes from loaf, crackers and vegetable dippers.
This isn't a warm version, but it always gets raves at parties.
