  Spanish Pork




More Spanish Pork Recipes
Ingredients:

  • 3# Boneless pork, cut into chunks
  • 6c water
  • 5c canned hominey (1/2white:1/2 yellow)
  • 1c chopped onion
  • 1t garlic powder
  • 2t leaf oregano
  • 3 red chile pods, crushed or
  • 3T chili powder
  • 1 1/2-2t salt, or to tast

Directions:
Place pork and waer in pot and cook, covered, until meat is tender, about 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients, tasting for salt.
Simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes. Servings 8-10



This is really good if you can find real New Mexico chili powder.
