Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 small clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp. savory
  • 1/4 tsp. celery pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. ground clove
  • 1/4 to 1/2 bread crumbs
  • pinch of salt
  • Pie crusts

Directions

Put all ingredients except bread crumbs in a dutch oven. Cover with water, about 1 cup. Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Add a handful of bread crumbs to absorb the fat. Let rest for 15 minutes. Put in a double pie crust, venting the top with 2-3 slashes. Bake at 425 for about 30 minutes or until golden.
