Ingredients

  • 2-3 cans whole water chestnuts
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 jar of chili sauce
  • 1 lb brown sugar

Directions

Combine brown sugar and chili sauce in small saucepan. Stir on low for an hour.

Slice bacon in thirds. Drain water chestnuts. Wrap each chestnut with 1/3 bacon strip. Secure with a toothpick. Bake @ 350 until bacon is crisp. (30-45 minutes) Drain on paper towels.

Place bacon wrapped chestnuts in 2 qt pyrex dish. Pour Sauce over them. Serve.
