Ingredients:
2-3 cans whole water chestnuts1 lb bacon 1 jar of chili sauce 1 lb brown sugar
Directions:
Combine brown sugar and chili sauce in small saucepan. Stir on low for an hour.Slice bacon in thirds. Drain water chestnuts. Wrap each chestnut with 1/3 bacon strip. Secure with a toothpick. Bake @ 350 until bacon is crisp. (30-45 minutes) Drain on paper towels. Place bacon wrapped chestnuts in 2 qt pyrex dish. Pour Sauce over them. Serve. |
