Directions:
Soak roll in water, squeeze dry and break up. Add meat, potatoes, anchovies, egg and flour to bind. (Another recipe for these calls for diced onion also.) Knead mixture for 5 minutes; shape into balls. Tumble in flour and drop into salted hot water. From butter, flour and beef stock, prepare a light sauce. When smooth, add capers and lemon juice. Season and bring to a boil. Let meat balls soak briefly in this beore serving. Serve with potatoes. Serves 4.
