Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 c. pitted chopped dates
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 t. vanilla
Directions
Beat eggs with sugar until very think. Add dry ingredients. Beat until smooth and add dates, vanilla and nuts. Bake in a greased and floured 9x13 pan 50* about 30 min. cake should be quite dry.
Crumble cake into pieces on a platter and top with pieces of orange and banana. Cover with whipped cream.
I have used other fruit too. This really is delicious and it is sticky.
