Ingredients:
3 eggs1 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1/4 t. salt 1 c. pitted chopped dates 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 t. vanilla
Directions:
Beat eggs with sugar until very think. Add dry ingredients. Beat until smooth and add dates, vanilla and nuts. Bake in a greased and floured 9x13 pan 50* about 30 min. cake should be quite dry.Crumble cake into pieces on a platter and top with pieces of orange and banana. Cover with whipped cream. I have used other fruit too. This really is delicious and it is sticky. | |
