Ingredients

  • 1/4 c butter flavor crisco
  • 1/2 c peanut butter
  • 1 pkg butterscotch chips(12oz)
  • 6 c corn flakes
  • 2/3 c chocolate chips-semi sweetminiatures
  • peanuts chopped(optional)

Directions

Melt crisco,peanut butter and butterscotch chips in saucepan,over low heat. Pour cornflakes into large bowl. Pour hot butterscotch mixture over cornflakes.Stir with large spoon until well coated. Spoon mixture(scant 1/4 c) into mounds on wax paper-lined baking sheets. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts if desired. Refrigerate until firm before serving.


Makes 3 doz 2 1/2 " cookies.
