Ginger Key Lime Tuna (or Swordfish) Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Can use this recipe for tuna, swordfish or other steak fish
  • Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lbs. tuna steaks (1" thick)
  • Marinade:
  • 6-8 Key limes or 1/4 cup juice
  • 2 TBS olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 small hot pepper or 1/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

Directions:
Directions

Prepare the marinade.
Cut fish into 4-6 serving pieces and place in glass dish or Ziplock bag.
Add marinade and make sure fish is completely coated. Cover if using a dish.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour but not overnight.

Cooking:

Brush grill rack with oil or spray with Pam.
Grill fish over direct heat on medium - 4 inches from heat for 15-20 minutes.
Brush with marinade a few times while cooking and turn at least once.
Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
