Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned pepper
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 tsp. French dressing
  • 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly

Directions

Combine first 7 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Shape into small balls. Mix chili sauce, jelly and 1 1/2 cup water in large saucepan. Cook over low heat until jelly is dissolved. Add meatballs. Simmer for 1 hour. Chill overnight. Remove excess grease from top. Reheat to serving temperature.

Yield: About 40 meatballs

Sweet and Sour Meatballs
