Directions:
Heat butter and stir in flour. Mix up to slightly cook flour. Slowly whisk in milk, adding gradually to make a sauce. Stir in spices and cheese.
This sauce does double duty on fettuccini for a 'quick' Alfredo, or combine with marinara sauce for a "rosa" or mellow, creamy pasta topping.
