Ingredients:
2 Tbls. butter3 Tbls. flour 1 cup milk 1/4 tsp.salt 1/8 tsp.pepper 1/4 tsp.garlic powder(or to taste) 1/2 cup parmesan or shredded havarti
Directions:
Heat butter and stir in flour. Mix up to slightly cook flour. Slowly whisk in milk, adding gradually to make a sauce.Stir in spices and cheese. This sauce does double duty on fettuccini for a 'quick' Alfredo, or combine with marinara sauce for a "rosa" or mellow, creamy pasta topping.
