Ingredients
- 1-1/2 to 2 lb lean short ribs
- flour
- salt
- pepper
- 1 onion, sliced
- Sauce:
- 3/4 c ketchup
- 2 T vinegar
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 4 T soy sauce
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 c water
Directions
Flour, salt and pepper ribs by shaking in plastic bag; place in a single layer in a shallow oven proof pan with a lid.
Cover the top with sliced onion.
For sauce, mix ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, sugar and water and pour over ribs. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F. for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until very tender and well glazed.
Serve with egg noodles.
