Pecan Pie Jam Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups finely chopped pecans
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 2 Tbs ground ginger
  • 2 Tbs brown sugar
  • 2 Tbs cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbs. apple cider or lemon juice

Directions:
Mix ingredients in a large saucepan. Heat until all the sugar has melted and turns to a light brown. Yields about 4 cups.



You might might want to play with the spice amounts a bit. Judy B' likes hers potent. Good luck
