Pecan Pie Jam Recipe

  Jellies and Jams

Ingredients:
2 cups finely chopped pecans
2 cups granulated sugar
2 pinches salt
2 Tbs ground ginger
2 Tbs brown sugar
2 Tbs cinnamon (optional)
1 stick unsalted butter
2 Tbs. apple cider or lemon juice

Directions:
Mix ingredients in a large saucepan. Heat until all the sugar has melted and turns to a light brown. Yields about 4 cups.
You might might want to play with the spice amounts a bit. Judy B' likes hers potent. Good luck
