Desalted Beer Ham Recipe | ||

| Ingredients:
1 Ham with bone in2 cans of Ginger Ale 1 can of Beer 2 TBSP dry mustard 1/4 cup fancy molasses
Directions:
Desalt the ham by pouring Ginger Ale in a plastic bag and putting ham in. Let soak for about 3-4 hours.Remove fat and and put ham in a foil lines oven-proof dish. Mix beer, mustard and molasses and pour over ham. Cover with foil tightly and bake for 15 minutes a pound basting from time to time. Uncover and bake another 20 minutes. You will get a very tasty moist ham.
Desalting is better for your health.
