Desalted Beer Ham Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Ham with bone in
  • 2 cans of Ginger Ale
  • 1 can of Beer
  • 2 TBSP dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup fancy molasses

Directions:
Desalt the ham by pouring Ginger Ale in a plastic bag and putting ham in. Let soak for about 3-4 hours.
Remove fat and and put ham in a foil lines oven-proof dish.
Mix beer, mustard and molasses and pour over ham. Cover with foil tightly and bake for 15 minutes a pound basting from time to time. Uncover and bake another 20 minutes.



You will get a very tasty moist ham. Desalting is better for your health.
