This is a dish I learned to cook tableside . Very simple and very impressive. Enjoy


  • 1 banana for each person
  • 2 Tblsp brown sugar (per banana)
  • 1 " butter "
  • creme de banana liquor
  • vanilla ice cream


melt butter add brown sugar. let it cook until butter and sugar are bubbly. Carefully add the banana liquor, cook for about 1 minute.
Slice bananas in half, long ways.
place bananas in sauce. Cook for about 30 seconds, flame with rum. Serve over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
