You might dip fruit in *ascorbc acid to prevent darkening. MSG is also a darkening preventative. As I remember, this was a hit appetizer. You may want to dip the fruit in ascorbic acid or sprinkle w/ a little MSG to prevent browning. I remember this being a hit appetizer.
- 8 oz.cream cheese
- 1 C. plain yogurt
- 1/4 C. honey
- 2 tsp.ginger(powdered)
- 8 oz.crushed pineapple (drained)
- 1 Tbs. toasted almonds for garnish
Beat crm.cheese,yogurt,honey,& ginger. Fold in pineapple. Cover and refrigerate to blend flavors, 1-2 hours.
Slice pears,apples,etc. Garnish dip w/toasted almonds.
