Ingredients:
8 oz.cream cheese1 C. plain yogurt 1/4 C. honey 2 tsp.ginger(powdered) 8 oz.crushed pineapple (drained) 1 Tbs. toasted almonds for garnish
Directions:
Beat crm.cheese,yogurt,honey,& ginger. Fold in pineapple. Cover and refrigerate to blend flavors, 1-2 hours.Slice pears,apples,etc. Garnish dip w/toasted almonds. You might dip fruit in *ascorbc acid to prevent darkening. MSG is also a darkening preventative.
As I remember, this was a hit appetizer.
You may want to dip the fruit in ascorbic acid or sprinkle w/ a little MSG to prevent browning. I remember this being a hit appetizer.
