Osso Bucco ala Milanesse Recipe

  Veal

    




Ingredients:
Veal shanks
seasoned flour
celery,carrot,onion 1/4" diced
butter for saute'ing
canned or fresh tomatoes with juice
chicken stock
white wine
bayleaf, tarragon, garlic, rosemary

Directions:
Dredge veal shanks in seasoned and saute' in butter until browned on all sides. Add vegetables and continue to saute until wilted. Add wine and reduce 3/4. Add stock, herbs, garlic,and tomato. Cover and place in 350 degree oven for approx. 2-1/2 hours until meat is tender.
