Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 14 oz. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c. peanut butter
  • 1 baked pie shell

Directions

Mix sugar, cornstarch, flour, milk, water and egg yolks. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat and add vanilla and 1 tablespoons peanut butter. Blend powdered sugar and 1/4 cup peanut butter until it is like cornmeal. Sprinkle 3/4 of this mixture over bottom of crust. Pour in cooked filling and top with remaining crumb mixture.

PEANUT BUTTER PIE
