Ingredients:
1 c. sugar3 tbsp. cornstarch 3 tbsp. flour 14 oz. evaporated milk 1 c. water 3 egg yolks 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. peanut butter 1 c. powdered sugar 1/4 c. peanut butter 1 baked pie shell
Directions:
Mix sugar, cornstarch, flour, milk, water and egg yolks. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat and add vanilla and 1 tablespoons peanut butter. Blend powdered sugar and 1/4 cup peanut butter until it is like cornmeal. Sprinkle 3/4 of this mixture over bottom of crust. Pour in cooked filling and top with remaining crumb mixture. |
