Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups whole blanched almonds
  • 1-1/2 cups confectioner's sugar - sifted
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Grind the almonds, a portion at a time, in an electric blender or food chopper, using the fine blades. Combine with confectioner*s sugar, egg white, almond extract and salt. Work to a stiff paste. Refrigerate in an air-tight container or plastic bag.
