I haven't tried this and can't vouch for it, but it sounds like what you're looking for :)

Ingredients

  • A package of pastry mix
  • 1/2 lb. ground steak (or chopped leftover cooked or uncooked beef, veal, or lamb)
  • a small carrot, grated or diced
  • a small potato, diced
  • a medium onion, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • something to moisten it- 3 or 4 tbs of any soup or gravy or mushroom sauce, or 1/4 cup bouillon

Directions

Roll out the pastry and cut 4 circles the size of salad plates. Mix everything else, put a dollop on each circle, fold into half-moons, and seal the edges with a fork. Prick them and bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes.
