Ingredients

  • 1 Half gallon of milk
  • 1 pint of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 cup of rice (carolina rice only)
  • 1 egg

Directions

Put everything in a pot at once except the egg, bring to a boil and then turn down to medium cook for at least 1 hr, on med, you must keep on mixing so it does not burn. When the pudding is to hard to stir or very thick which ever comes first it is done. turn off the stove take the egg which should have been beaten and add to the pudding mixing throughly so the egg does not scramble. put in your favorite dish and leave sit overnight in the ice box. This recipe is very creamy.
