Good with corn bread.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. green beans
- 1/4 lb. salt pork
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 3 cups water
Directions
Remove tops from beans and break into pieces 1 to 1-1/2 inches long. Wash beans and put in slow cooker. Wash and score salt pork and add to cooker with salt, sugar and water. Cook on low 10 to 12 hours(high 2 to 4 hours), stirring occasionally.
