• cherrystone clams (about a dozen ) 1 egg 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp pepper 1 tbsp. milk all purpose flour seasoned bread crumbs
  • vegetable oil


Mix egg,salt, pepper and milk in small bowl. Shuck clams,wash and drain. Roll in flour then dip in egg mixture. roll in bread crumbs. Put in freezer for about 10 minutes. Deep fry 2 to 3 minutes in hot oil. Serve with cocktail sauce or tarter sauce.
