Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 ounces nuts, walnuts or pecans or sliced almonds

Directions

Put sugar in heavy skillet. Add nuts and stir constantly over low heat until sugar melts and nuts are coated. Watch closely as they tend to brown quickly if the heat is too high. Pour nuts onto a cookie sheet and separate with fork IMMEDIATELY. Cool and store in airtight container.
