  • potatoes
  • carrots
  • cabbage


Night before. Put corned beef in crock pot, cover with water. Add spices tied in cheesecloth. Cook all night on medium. In morning, discard spice bag. Put meat in pan, covered with foil; keep warm. Add vegetables to liquid in pot. Turn to high. Cook until tender, adding cabbage when potatoes & carrots are 1/2 done. When veggies are almost done, put meat on top to reheat and absorb more juices. Yum!
