Ingredients

  • 5 1/4 oz. pkg garlic-flavored croutons
  • 3 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp papper
  • 12 oz. pkg bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped green bell pepper (optional)

Directions

Place croutons in a single layer in greased 13 x 9 baking dish; sprinkle with cheese.
Combine eggs and next 3 ingredients, mixing well; pour over cheese. Chill 8 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator, let stand 30 minutes. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with bacon, and, if desired, bell pepper; bake 10 more minutes or until center is set. Let stand 10 minutes. 10 servings.
