Ingredients
- 4 cups raw cranberries, washed and picked over
- 1 large orange peeled and cut in eighths
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 cups sugar
Directions
Put cranberries and orange through a grinder with coarse disk. (Or process in food processor with metal blade until coarsely ground...not too fine.) Stir in remaining ingredients. Let stand at room temperature; stir again, then refrigerate. You may also add about 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts.
About 4 cups.
