Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables, cooked
  • 1 small box frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix; prepared
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons gravy flour mix (for thickening)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups of water

Directions

Brown ground chuck, add soup mix, water and mixed vegetables for 15 to 20 minutes. Thicken with gravy mix if needed. Add thawed broccoli and cheese to cornbread mixture. Place ground chuck mixture in 2 quart casserole and top with cornbread/broccoli mixture.

Bake at 350 d. until corbread is golden brown.
