Ingredients
- 1 C sugar
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp maple flavoring
- 1 egg
Directions
This is a quick and easy sure proof frosting recipe from way back and it's tried and true:
Mix all ingredients in a medium sized bowl, add 1/2 C boiling water, with whisk or electric mixer, mix until frosting stands in peaks
