Ingredients

  • 2(16 oz.) cans yams
  • 2 medium apples(sliced)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar(packed)
  • 1/2 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon margarine
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows

Directions

Drain yams. Pare, remove core and slice apples. Combine brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon. Toss apple slices in mixture to coat. Alternately layer apple slices and yams in a 1-1/2 quart baking dish. Dot with margarine. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30-40 minutes.

Remove from oven and top with marshmallows. Return to oven until marshmallows are browned.


Serves 6.
