Ingredients

  • 1 can (6 1/2 oz) lobster
  • 1/3 c. dry sherry
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3 tgbsp flour
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp steak sauce
  • salt, seasoned salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Remove any membrane from lobster. Separate meat into small pieces, put in bowl and cover with the sherry. Let stand 20 minutes. In top of souble boiler, over simmering water, melt butter; blend in flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually add milk and cook, stiring, until thickened. Season, add soaked lobster with the sherry; simmer, covered, 10 minutes.


Makes about 4 coups, or 4 servings.
