Ingredients

  • 1/2 half head of cabbage, shredded (May use a bag of coleslaw mix or Napa cabbage)
  • 4 green onions, sliced, including green tops
  • 1 package chicken flavor Ramen Noodles
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Dressing:
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Contents of Ramen seasoning packet
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove noodles from package, reserving seasoning packet and crush noodles slightly. Place on baking pan along with almonds and sesame seeds. Bake 5 - 10 minutes until lightly browned. Set aside. Combine cabbage and onions. Combine dressing ingredients and toss with cabbage mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour. Just before serving, fold in noodle mixture.
