Ingredients

  • Middle European Classic
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1 1/2 lb. pork, cubed
  • 1 sliced apple
  • 3 lb. sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 can beer
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 large onion, diced

Directions

Quick-fry the bacon and pour off half the grease. Add the pork to the bacon, then fry 10 minutes. Place the meat in a roaster and add the rest of the ingredients. Place in a 325 degree F. oven; bake 1 hour.
