Ingredients
- Marinate the steak overnight or for 24 hours i the refrigerator in a glass or ceramic container in the following marinade:
- 1 cup dry wine
- 1 cup vinegar
- 3 bay leaves(Vary spices to suit your taste)
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon whole black pepper
- 1 large onion, sliced
- Remove steak from marinade and wipe dry. Roll in flour and brown in small amount of fat. Pour over it the following mixture:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 onion, chopped
- dash pepper
Directions
Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours in 325 degree F. oven or prepared in a dutch oven outdoors or on the kitchen stove. Good for any meat which is tough or gamey.
