Directions
1. Trim tops and edges of cakes. Place one square cake on prepared board. Frost top with some of the white frosting.
2. Cut out center of next cake layer 1 3/4" from sides into 2 -1 3/4" wide rectangles (B).
3. Cut from 3rd layer as follows: 1 - 1 3/4" strip from end (E); 1 - 1 3/4" x 4" strip (D); 3 - 2" diameter circles (C).
4. Place outer portion of 2nd layer over initial layer. Place (E) on top on one edge (back), place 2 rectangles (B) on opposing sides adjacent to (E), place one circle (C) on each corner, and (D) on tray in front, connecting each with some of the frosting.
5. Frost entire cake with white frosting, and cover piece D with colored sugar.
6. Frost cones with blue and yellow frostings. Place on corners of cake.
7. Decorate with colored chocolate pieces around base and base of each of the towers (cones). Add gumdrops in two rows between each of the cones. Use wafer cookies on front of castle as a gate. Top each cone with chocolate pieces also. Good luck, it was kind of hard to describe without using diagrams!!
